Somalia: the invisible trace by Pep Bonet

For 16 years following the collapse of the Siad Barré regime in 1991, Somalia remained the only country in the world without an effective central government.
International response to the situation in Somalia has to date been insufficient, from both a political and humanitarian point of view.

Las Cholitas - Ivan Kashinsky

High up in the Bolivian Andes Cholitas take part in Lucha Libre, a style of wrestling that began in Mexico. The Cholitas that participate in this wild sport are of Aymara decent and go toe to toe in their traditional clothing. The crowd goes absolutely wild as they enter the ring in their large colorful dresses and dark bowler hats. The fighting takes place in El Alto, which rests above La Paz at over 4,000 meters. Juan Mamami heads the wrestling group called “Los Titanes del Ring”, which includes men as well as the Cholitas. Mamami introduced the Cholitas about 7 years ago. Ever since they have been a big hit drawing hundreds of Bolivians every Sunday as well as a handful of tourists. It is truly amazing that these indigenous women have risen above the machista views of the Bolivian people to be super stars in freezing cold city of El Alto.

Ara Oshagan – Father:Land

Father:Land is a project about origins and identity. A project about a place and a people emerging out of a dark history, transforming, forging a new identity, searching for themselves and a new way of life.
This place is Karabagh: a remote mountainous area next to Armenia. A region where the Armenians fought and won a fierce war of independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union. A region still with militarized borders and no political recognition. A place in transformation: the people, the land, the very way of life in political, social, existential upheaval. A place that is part of our distant homeland.

Chinese childhood by Su Sheng

One-child policy in China has been implemented for 30 years, which is also China’s three decades of reform and opening up three decades. During this period, Chinese people’s life has changed dramatically in China’s cities and towns in the vast majority of family relations from the "four generations," transformed into "House 3." The photography project, "childhood" and discussion to demonstrate that they live in the city’s "well-being of children" (in China, commonly known as "Little Emperor"). They come into the world on the sustenance of the family’s expectations, they are enough to live comfortably, have their own room, there are countless toys, by a good education, almost all want to be. However, in contemporary China, it seems that all the adults busy, expect to receive more money, better living conditions. These "well-being of children," almost all of the time alone at home, living in their own space, with the virtual network fighting monsters; said with a quiet mind baby; alone in describing their own ideas on paper; alone in Imagine the sky outside the window next to the peaks of marine ... ... it seems that these children have become accustomed to this way of fun, perhaps only a moment, then they will suddenly feel a little lonely now.
When I picked up a camera, walked into the living space of these children, in their room to listen to them himself, to record the image and quality of their attempt to present the Chinese children showed a unique state of mind.
